Purity & Recommitment to Purity

I was part of an amazing event this past week with Jason and Crystalina Evert. They are speakers that talk about their life, marriage, and about teens staying pure in todays culture. I shared the stage with them and spoke and performed my songs Hard to Believe and Keep Your Pants On.I bought their latest book, started reading it that night and came across a great line in their book from a guy student at one of their talks,
"Jason, How do I know I am ready to go further in a relationship? Jason's response, Look at your Left hand, do you see a wedding ring?"</strong>

I loved that answer :)

............................................

I really enjoyed sharing the stage with them sharing my music, message and ministry the church congregation.
I had several girls <strong>and</strong> guys come up to me after the event and share their story about heartbreak and mistakes they made in past relationships.
I want to share with you if you are reading this and you are in that same place in your life.

"Girls and guys, DO not give yourself away, physically, save that until you are married. You will be saving the best gift for your future spouse that you could ever give.

It is true that the physical "virginity" one can not get back once lost but ....It's not to late to recommit your mind, body and soul to God right now. I understand that physical virginity you will never get back once lost but through Christ, He can make all things new in Him.

Christ can renew, and forgive the mistakes of the past, if you take a stand and change, commit to not make the same mistakes, and moving forward.
Many girls and guys I meet at my shows have recommitted their lives to Christ right there on the spot.

I want to let you know you are never too far gone to change. Be strong and commit right now. You can start over through Christ, instead of living lifelong regret of past mistakes. You can not change what you don't acknowledge and change.
Even if you have already made mistakes in relationships God can make ALL THINGS NEW.

Take a moment and pray, recommit to Christ your purity. Guard yourself , and your heart, mind, body ,and soul. Take a stand!

In Christ,
Chelsea Musick
